My view Of The

BSB Concert In Jersey (9/23/99)

It was awesome- no, more than awesome. After about 1/2 an hour of nothing the boys (BSB) finally came out of a black 'box' and through 'fog' from the side of the stage on their surfboards. They flew through the air waving and smiling then landing on stage to burst into 'Larger Than Life.' The dancing was SO cool. The boys did just about all of the songs on millennium and their singles from the first three albums (1 US, 2 UK).

Here are the highlights- to me at least!

(Please don't read if you didn't see the concert yet!)

When they sang 'Don't Want You Back' throughout most of the song they were sitting on/hanging off tall black ladders.J

On 'Back to Your Heart' the center of the stage rose up with Kevin playing the piano & the rest of the boys singing!

At one point in the show all of the boys (even Brian) flew over the stage smiling, waving & singing. Howie threw roses into the audience and Brian & Nick gave out teddy bears. (Sadly I didn't get one 'cuz I sat in the 2^nd level).

Several times in the performance Nick layed on the stage laughing-tired, but laughing.

They did the world famous Chair routine! That was awesome. They did it during 'As Long As You Love Me' (what elseJ ).

My Favorite part must have been when the boys were introducing the band members & dancers. Brian and AJ were hanging out on the center circle and sometimes behind the dancers do some sort of really funky dances. Also AJ did some sort of REALLY weird Chicken dance, (he walked around the stage lifting his knees high and bobbed his headJ ).

Lastly the funniest thing- witch I think only happened in jersey, was when the boys sang 'I want I that Way' and the sound completely shut off. You could still see the boys singing and hear the song, but it was the audience singing. About two minutes later the sound came back on and AJ explained to the audience that they probably blew a fuse. So the BSB's restarted the song and sand great, except when nick sand his solo part in the chorus (Tell me why…) he sang the bootleg version, (weird,) but I love him anyway.

Then the show ended, and I was sad- but I was happy, too because:

I SAW BSB LIVE IN CONCERT!

(and I'm still not over the fact, sorry!)
